Our recent stay at InterContinental Budapest was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the impeccable premises, festive Christmas decor, and spectacular New Year’s Eve arrangements created a magical atmosphere. The beautifully designed outdoor surroundings and the grand inner lobby with thematic Christmas displays made every moment feel extraordinary. Special appreciation to Petra at the reception, who ensured a seamless check-in process and arranged a delightful room that made our stay even more enjoyable. Her care and attention to detail truly set the tone for a wonderful holiday. The breakfast experience exceeded our expectations, with a wide variety of options to satisfy every taste. A heartfelt thank you to Aya, whose warm and thoughtful care toward our daughter left a lasting impression. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality. The concierge team deserves immense praise for their professionalism and dedication. They went above and beyond to organize exceptional daily plans, provide insightful tips to explore Budapest’s hidden gems, and recommend top-notch dining experiences that showcased the city’s culinary treasures. The hotel’s central location was unbeatable, with the Christmas market, the Danube River, and the castle all within walking distance. We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Budapest. The hotel is perfectly located right on the Danube, offering stunning views of the river and easy access to major attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. One of the highlights was the gym facility – well-equipped, clean, and perfect for a solid workout. The breakfast selection was also impressive, with a great variety of fresh, high-quality options to start the day. The only downside was that the bathroom was quite small, but it was still clean and functional. The staff were professional, attentive, and always willing to help, making my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, an excellent experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel and 1 of the best scenic views I’ve ever had . Even better when a Keanu Reeves movie is being filmed just outside the hotel from just after breakfast, what a fantastic day yesterday. The hotel has a sauna and steam room along with a nice pool , I used the sauna 4 days out of 6, it was brilliant. The Lebanese restaurant was also very nice if you didn’t want to venture out in the evening, brilliant staff . I’ll definitely visit Budapest again and I can guarantee I’ll be staying at the Intercontinental . The location is so central but still the view over the river and to the castle, it’s going to be hard to find a better hotel experience

Wonderful location. But during the New Year holidays there was thick fog and all the beautiful photos from the window did not come together. It's a pity..Everything else exceeded expectations..The general manager of the hotel does a good job..Professionals work everywhere .High level of service in all restaurants and bars .Fresh food. Quick solution to all problems at the reception .beautiful well maintained spaces in the lounge lobby restaurant and hall Everything in the room is in good working order. Hot water and heat in the room. In general, I liked the New Year's Eve celebration and my stay in this hotel. Thank you.

The hotel probably is in the best location in Budapest. Close to everything and also almost next to the river, giving an excellent view of the historical town. The breakfast is excellent, the restaurant is very good and we have much enjoyed the sauna and the steam-room as well. Very friendly staff throughout where we had some excellent help from the concierge on directions, how to use the public transport, etc.
