InterContinental Budapest, an IHG Hotel

Wonderful location. But during the New Year holidays there was thick fog and all the beautiful photos from the window did not come together. It's a pity..Everything else exceeded expectations..The general manager of the hotel does a good job..Professionals work everywhere .High level of service in all restaurants and bars .Fresh food. Quick solution to all problems at the reception .beautiful well maintained spaces in the lounge lobby restaurant and hall Everything in the room is in good working order. Hot water and heat in the room. In general, I liked the New Year's Eve celebration and my stay in this hotel. Thank you.

The location was amazing -- right by the chain bridge with easy walking distance to the castle. The breakfast buffet was really good too!

The concierge team deserves immense praise for their professionalism and dedication. They went above and beyond to organize exceptional daily plans, provide insightful tips to explore Budapest’s hidden gems, and recommend top-notch dining experiences that showcased the city’s culinary treasures. The hotel’s central location was unbeatable, with the Christmas market, the Danube River, and the castle all within walking distance. Lovely hotel and 1 of the best scenic views I’ve ever had . Even better when a Keanu Reeves movie is being filmed just outside the hotel from just after breakfast, what a fantastic day yesterday. The hotel has a sauna and steam room along with a nice pool , I used the sauna 4 days out of 6, it was brilliant. The Lebanese restaurant was also very nice if you didn’t want to venture out in the evening, brilliant staff . I’ll definitely visit Budapest again and I can guarantee I’ll be staying at the Intercontinental . The location is so central but still the view over the river and to the castle, it’s going to be hard to find a better hotel experience

The location was perfect and the room upgrade ( river view) was reasonable. The front desk service staff and concierge were very prompt and helpful.
